I'm Rod Gardner, and I've dedicated my career to helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their foundations. I am honored to share my story and the vision behind Innovative Kindness.
My Story
I am the Founder and Managing Director of Innovative Kindness, a consulting firm dedicated to strengthening nonprofit organizations through strategic partnerships, relationship building, and sustainable revenue opportunities.
With a career rooted in social services, nonprofit development, and business development, I bring a unique ability to connect mission-driven leaders with the people and resources they need to grow. I combine certifications from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management in Finance, Sales, and Fundraising with hands-on experience supporting organizations across the Chicagoland area. I graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a double-major in Sociology & Criminal Justice.
My passion for serving others enables me to identify creative solutions that help nonprofits expand their impact. Through Innovative Kindness, I am committed to helping organizations build sustainable foundations while creating meaningful, lasting change in the communities they serve. Currently, I am an active member of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club as well as an active member and the Vice President of Public Relations for the Evanston Chapter of Toastmasters.
